AccessOrtho Orthopedic Urgent Care

Board Certified Physician Assistant

Triad Region

Greensboro-Signature Place

Elizabeth Nottingham is a Physician Assistant who joined EmergeOrtho’s AccessOrtho Orthopedic Urgent Care Team in 2021. She provides orthopedic care to patients at our Greensboro location. Many of the urgent care patients she treats have recently sprained a joint, strained a muscle, broken a bone or suffered from another type of recent orthopedic injury.

Her passion for the musculoskeletal system is reflected in her career path. She began her career in healthcare as a Certified Athletic Trainer. She provided medical services to student-athletes in a high school setting and patients in an outpatient orthopedic clinic. Determined to learn more and to treat a broader population of patients, Elizabeth attended graduate school at High Point University earning her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.

Prior to joining our team, Elizabeth gained experience as a physician assistant in orthopedics and primary care settings. She enjoys using her knowledge to evaluate her patients’ injuries and conditions in order to best provide the medical care they need. Elizabeth is a team oriented person. “I believe that working together, respecting each other, and recognizing each other’s strengths is crucial,” says Elizabeth. She agrees everyone, including patients, has a role in realizing positive patient outcomes.
